Yup. Any time you read the King James version, and it says something like "He placed his hand under his thigh to show his truthfulness", that was the translator's way of making what was really going on a tad cleaner for the King's dainty sensibilities.
So...ummm... did they place their right hand in the appropriate spot? Like we do with the Bible?
