It was a pleasant surprise
This guy's going viral among a small circle

Somebody slipped me another award

At least I think it's an award because when it was presented he called me a magnificent %@$+@&*
That is almost as complimentary as being called a demented %@$+@&*

Just by coincidence I am able to provide some information about turkey encounters here in the Golden State

At least out here in the boon tules (pronounced toolies) turkeys remain in hiding because they are fair game

There should be some kinda rule that the NBA and NHL play on alternate days. It's not so much I'm a fan as it's the pits when nothing else on the tube interests me and I can't even watch one of the NorCal teams.

Earlier this morning Sully commented that his verification was soredges. Then he said something about funny and I should make a joke.
Well, I gotta admit I was at a loss ...for awhile. Because Blogger came through and gave me some fodder (a cheap reference to the cow post below). While almost making a comment on another blog I came across the following:

I'm thinkin' it (ho sittin') will give someone soredges if they spend too much time at it.

I do homemade stuff, okay?
Some folks even think I'm creative. We won't tell them that it's because I'm too lazy to leave the house.
I'm so lazy, in fact, that I sometimes don't even print the cards I create. I just turn them into PDFs and email 'em.

Speaking of Suldog, he gave me props for my TCF. I'll grant it is hard to miss. It's just my version of OCCUPY THIS! I suppose I could become passionate about giving holidays their due without interference from other holidays. But for the moment I shall show my support by refraining from naming that most intrusive holiday.

Now I think I shall go crawl back under the rock until the wind quits blowing.

I've made it a habit to check the Blog of Note tab on my blogger dashboard every couple of days. No, I'm not doing it because I want that sort of notoriety. I do it because I'm curious about the blogs that are tagged as such. I am also curious about those blogger's reaction to being named as a Blog of Note.
Yesterday there was anything but a mild reaction as you will note if you read today's post. It's the only one left on that blog.
