We're now one step removed from a science fiction story I read when I was a kid (and which frightened the bejeezus out of me.) In it (and I wish I could remember the author) people all have their eyeballs removed and have movies hard-wired into their brains via the sockets. It was written in the 1950's and seems to be coming true. Yikes!
