Another court case has ended.
The only thing that comes to mind is, How frickin' much did this cost the taxpayers?
I'm sure that compared to the total prosecutorial budget of the Justice Department it was minimal. But, honestly, does anyone really believe we'd be better off if they'd proved Roger Clemens lied to congress?
Seriously... does anyone think congress cares what the truth is?
Disgusting!
I am so with you on this!!! Clemens said he did not use steroids, everyone knows he did. So what? One look at his puffed up head tells you he used steroids. So did 1/2 the batters he faced.
ReplyDeleteLie to congress?? O M Frickin G!!
cranky
I looks like prosecutors are after publicity rather than justice.
ReplyDeleteCongress doesn't care.
Yeah, I know, a total waste. No matter the outcome, baseball would still keep him ostracized (as if that matters in the grand scheme of things, anyway.) Total grandstand play (like much of what passes for action in DC.)
ReplyDeleteYou hit it right on the money (no pun): Disgusting.
